PA&C Tube
An emissions reduction device designed to mitigate NO₂ and CO₂ pollution from vehicle exhaust systems. NO₂ is a harmful air pollutant primarily produced by fuel combustion, with road transportation representing one of the largest contributors. These pollutants are associated with negative environmental, climate, and health effects.
The PAAC Tube is engineered to attach to the end-section of an exhaust pipe, where it uses activated carbon to adsorb exhaust gases. By using activated carbon, the device aims to decrease CO₂ and reduce NO₂ into less harmful components. Unlike conventional emissions control technologies such as Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) or Lean NO₂Traps (LNT), which depend on additional materials and complex systems, the PAAC Tube offers a simpler, activated carbon based approach.
